Sneaker Design: SHIFT F1

SHIFT F1 SNEAKERS: As intense sneaker lovers and designers, we decided to create our own sneaker design. The Shift F1’s broaden our design language, while setting an exercise to experiment and explore the future of footwear design.

A modular structure composed of 4 different elements allow users to create a personalized design with a futuristic layered look.

The Shift F1’s where designed with a custom buckle system showcasing the Shift sport logo over an industrial buckle frame for an extra secured fit and support. A transparent sole piece enables users to accesorize by adding color accents through plastic and metallic add-ons

Brand Identity for The Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency

Kissmiklos shared an awesome brand identity for The Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency, a firm which helps Hungarian designers to be qualified for exhibitions, programs and events all over the world. One of the most important events of HFDA is the Budapest Central European Fashion Week.

Both logos are based on the coat of arms of Budapest, the capital city of Hungary, where the agency has its head office.

The HFDA logo

The crown of King St Stephen lies on the top of the coat of arms, a lion – standing on two legs on the left side – holds a certification pictogram (symbolising the “stamp” which indicates that a product is made in Hungary or Budapest), while a mythological griffin stands on the right side.

The BCEFW logo

A lion – standing on two legs on the left side – holds a tag pictogram (symbolising the fashion brands, while a mythological griffin stands on the right side.

The visual identity of Budapest Central European Fashion Week always gets seasonal colours and graphic styles. The only fixed components are the different versions of the logo and the fonts. Therefore, this is a constantly changing and renewing identity whose updated versions always contribute to the building of a cohesive brand.

A Look at the SingularityU Canada Summit Brand Identity

Puncture Design, a creative studio from Toronto, Canada has done work for the SingularityU Canada Summit brand identity back in 2017.

Going with the statement of ‘…working on our common challenges together’, I just appreciate their design and thinking behind the brand identity with a minimal approach with a gradient mixed with the ‘Noe Display’ font. A beautiful ‘serif’ font that gives a modern and contemporary outlook to the brand and added with the pink-ish, purple and blue color palette.

Their concept was to try and make a vintage advertisement mural for a fictitious object, that would get the agency an advantage over their competition. So behold: The future spectacles have arrived!
